Interestingly enough, both stories’ headlines have serious warning tones: “Saudi woman defies driving ban and dies” and “Young Saudi woman drives to death.” As if the cause of her death was driving instead of her car flipping over and crashing…

These headlines serve only reinforce the stupid idea that women shouldn’t be driving: “SEE! Women shouldn’t drive because when they do, they DIE!” Fearmongering at its best.
